I know we’re still a bit early to start going all out scary, but I’m 100% going to print some of these ASAP and get them up on the wall. Some of these are more autumn vibes and less scary, but a good amount of these would have definitely given me nightmares when I was a kid.
I found all of these images by searching Creative Commons for “Public Domain Artworks”, the Met for “Open Access”, filtering by “Public Domain” from The Art Institute of Chicago, and the National Gallery of Art, and The Rijks Museum. They are all high resolution and completely free to use.
