I love to shop secondhand for many reasons, but for rugs the number one reason is that they just don’t make things the way they used to. A handwoven rug made of natural fibers can last for centuries, while the acrylic blend rug I bought two years ago is already deteriorating. I’ve been keeping my eye out for such a thing for a loooong while with no such luck until I learned about Revival Rugs.
Shopping with Revival Rugs was an absolute delight. Their filter system made it easy to find exactly what size I needed and the collections are so well curated that basically everything under the Antique Washed (my favorite style of rug) was something I could see in my home and be confident that I will love for years to come. Gone are the days of scrolling through hundreds of pages of questionable rugs on eBay.
I ended up choosing an Antique Washed handmade rug from Turkey and I can’t get over how perfectly worn it is. I always strive to have a healthy mix of old and new in my spaces, and the new addition of this rug is exactly what this room needed.
If you’re in the market for a unique vintage rug, definitely check out Revival! AND you can use code COLLECTED_ECLECTIC10 at checkout for 10% off your new favorite rug.
