Free digital downloads: Vintage still life artwork

This is one of 124 blog posts published between 2018 and 2021 for the Collected Eclectic blog.

I always find sourcing artwork to be a challenging process.

I have hopes and dreams of someday coming across beautiful vintage oil paintings for $5 at the thrift store, or even having the budget to pay for original artwork that resonates with me. Until then, I’m going down a rabbit hole looking for artwork that is free for anyone to use on the internet.

I like to search Creative Commons for “Public Domain Artworks”, browse the Met for “Open Access”, the National Gallery of Art, and The Rijks Museum for beautiful high resolution digital downloads that are completely free to use. I’ve collected the gallery here from these sources and encourage you to also check out those amazing sources and download my collection if you’d like! It’s a great $0 update for any one of your empty frames.
